Italian Info Packet and Interesting Info

I got the info packet in the mail last night! There's so much to read through, boy oh boy, but it's exciting.
There are some interesting things that I have already read. They have magazines and news papers in English and Italian, and movies too.
NO Peanut butter my oh my!
Being quick at showers is a good thing, which I am Whoot.
I think the word for tampons in any language is gross, Assorbenti interni.
I need more money...

I can't wait!

New Schedule

So, today I switched my schedule around so I'll be able to claim that I'm going to school full time in the US. I'm taking the Wine Appreciation for non credit, less hours as well. And I've replaced it with Museum Management. So my schedule is now:

Italian Language Intermediate II
Wed 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Introduction to Fashion Photography
Wed 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Drawing Florence: Developing a Sense of Place
Mon 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Museum Management
Tue 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Booked Flight

So I really am really GOING! My flight is now booked. On the first of September 1st from Tucson at about 8 AM and take a 2 hour flight to Denver. I'll have to stay there until about 6 PM then I arrive in Frankfurt, Germany after about a 10 hour flight and will arrive there on September 2 at about 11:30AM their time. I leave there at 12:30PM and get to Italy after an hour and a half flight at 2PM. Whoo. After that I'll picked up at the Air Port by SAI (Study Abroad Italy) and taken to my apartment that I'll be staying in. And stay up for the rest of the day unpacking. WHOOT!

I received my official "unofficial" schedule. I'm probably not going to be able to get many transfer credits for Westminster. I won't be able to ever take these classes any where else.

Acceptance

Less then a week ago I sent Study Abroad Italy (SAI) my application to study at Florence University of the Arts (FUA) in Florence Italy for the Fall 2008 semester. Today I received and e-mail saying that I've been accepted! I'm so amazingly excited!

The email said:
"March 17, 2008


Dear Ms. Carr Davison,

Congratulations, you have been accepted to Florence University of the Arts for the Fall 2008 Semester. In order to secure your enrollment, a non-refundable $500 confirmation deposit is due within fourteen days from today: March 17, 2008. Please note this deposit will be applied to the balance of the program and is not an additional fee.

I look forward to helping you find your way abroad, and please, feel free to contact me with any questions you might have here.

I can't believe it! I have so much to do between now and then, besides getting myself through the rest of this semester.
I need to:
* Some how come up with the money, Hello Scholarships
* Get my Italian down a little better. Erin non รจ il migliore in lingua Italiano.
* Get a worthwhile digital camera AKA Digital SLR. Canon D20 here I come.
* I need luggage
* Sooooooo many other things I haven't thought of right now!
